Job Description for the position of Leather Goods Merchandiser below -

Should have excellent communication skills in English and must have experience in leather bags, wallet, and accessories.
Location: Kolkata Leather Complex
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience required in Merchandising

Responsibilities:
1. Active involvement with the buyers for day to day correspondence and updating them with the detailed status of their current orders and sampling.
2. Follow up with buyers and buying houses for new developments and orders.
3. Product designing and costings.
4. Generate new customer leads.
5. Effective internal coordination with production and sample departments.
6. Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and delivery lead times.
7. Study the upcoming trends and prepare designs and samples accordingly.
8. Maximise customer interest and sales levels.
9. Time delivery of various reports as required by the management.
10. Prepare for customer presentations.
