We are hiring a Business Development / Techno-Sales professional for a growing technology distribution business operating in the Professional AV, Broadcast, Streaming, and Media Technology space.
Base Location: Kolkata
Territory: Eastern India

ROLE OVERVIEW
This is not a generic sales role. The position requires someone who understands technology solutions and can engage confidently with customers, partners, and decision-makers.
The ideal candidate will come from AV, Broadcast, IT Hardware, Media Technology, or related technology-driven industries and should be capable of driving business through both new and existing accounts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and develop new business opportunities and qualified leads
Work across AV, Broadcast, Media & Entertainment, Education, Healthcare, Manufacturing, House of Worship, Gaming, and Production segments
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and partner training sessions
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technology solutions
Build and manage relationships with resellers, channel partners, and end customers
Collaborate with regional partners to improve market reach and product visibility
Participate in demos, exhibitions, and partner engagement activities
Monitor competitors, market trends, and business opportunities
Maintain sales pipeline, forecasts, and regular reporting
CANDIDATE PROFILE
1-4 years of experience in B2B Tech Sales or Business Development
Prior exposure to AV, Broadcast, IT Hardware, or Technology products preferred
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to understand and explain technical solutions
Proficiency in MS Office and basic business tools
Experience in handling senior clients and channel partners
Self-driven, target-oriented, and independent working style
Willingness to travel extensively across Eastern India
Education: B.Sc / Engineering / IT / Electronics / Computer Science / Visual Communication or related technical background preferred. MBA will be an added advantage.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT
The role is based in Kolkata but requires regular travel across Eastern India as per business needs.
Knowledge of regional languages will be an advantage.
